Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely: A Healer Was Never Supposed To Be The Second God

Although open to interpretations, I have never thought that being a healer meant that you have will over the lives of others. Some would say that this statement is modest but my experience has taught me that healing is not left in the hands of others, than self. Big English?...simply put, I believe that healers have been given too much power than that which they have in reality.

I am raised and to this day, trained by the most selfless and humble. My spirit guides taught me to put others before myself, they spoke as if I was some kind of sacrifice for the betterment of others. The resentment such words can evoke, I feel a lot of healers are not ready to talk about, left to brew and never dealt with. But how do you then get up to help the next person, while carrying this heavy emotional taxing burden...I am still in search of this answer. And it is for this reason I say, “we were never supposed to be the second God'', it was never our cross to bear.

It is failure to walk away from the praises of others that has crippled the perception of indigenous and more especially traditional/faith medicinal practitioners. There is a lack of honesty in the hearts and minds of many healers. It is only the brave who asked questions to God himself (who is in constant search of the most righteous) that in my opinion gained holistic comprehension over their clairvoyance.

Let's decipher righteousness; to stand for what is morally right...but on whose measure? Can you see how there is a window for one's ideas and prejudices to interrupt and destabilize a message from the universe. And how we can easily speak in our favor as the one given the power over someone’s direction...we might as well tell them to come with us, which is what happens most of the time. But how are you taking someone to a place they did not create? Who will they find when they get there?

So if we take the power back to the most divine, what then is our role? What then constitutes a healer? Maybe our power lies in speaking our truth, to show vulnerability to the lessons and wisdom given to us, to help shine a light to the hidden meaning of life.

A true healer listens to what you need and finds themselves in your shoes, they feel with you and succumb themselves to your pain. They heal what you never thought could break. They take your hand, walk with you and present you to yourself - because if you had to be told, you would never believe - . A true healer will light the path for you, they will tell you where to look but never tell you what you will find - because again, if you had to be told, you would never believe -.

The true gift is the ability to hold a secret only to be unveiled when realized by the beholder, because they understand that their place as a healer is behind the universe. A messenger of words prescribed by the most divine to build you up and prepare you for your destiny. That's all it is; leading others into an awakening of their OWN consciousness.

Human beings are experiential learners, actions without believe never work .
