Ever heard of the saying - stand for something or fall for anything - I am sure you have, if not...you are welcome, and I trust the phrase touched a part within you that feels truth and yearns for an escape to live life to the fullest.
So here's the thing; we are taught to take care of the body, the mind but never the soul. I am not too sure why this part of our life’s makeup has been neglected, I wonder who’s idea that was, can't help but think - propaganda -. And in my opinion this lack of consideration of one's spiritual needs has lead to the rise of various mental illnesses, given no choice or support the soul has resorted to a state of depression, stuck in darkness so deep, fear has taken over our lives and we have lost the one force that would have given us courage, will and wisdom to survive in a world constantly telling us “we will not succeed”.
The spirit/soul has not been given a voice that truly represents what it is, its role in our lives and how it connects the body and the mind in alignment to our existential woes. We all ask ourselves at some point in our lives, “who are we and why are we here”, the mind is not equipped to give answers to this, it would be stupid to think the body can, and there it is folks...the spirit.
When empowered and respected in its own right, the spirit will pull out an internal library of memories and wisdom given to you at birth by the most divine - have you ever asked yourself why babies are born with hands fisted...too deep, I can imagine- . When empowered and respected the spirit will grant internal strength, be our cheerleader and fill the never ending hunger and thirst for something more, that we all have asked for from life.
We live in a world full of distractions, loud and unapologetic to what our true self needs to unveil. We are forced to move when we are tired, and I am not talking about physical fatigue but a depression of what keeps you moving. And yes this is relative, but you will feel my words if you are ready to.
Take time to take care of yourself, do what makes you happy and you will in turn find internal peace and treasure to a whole new life of meaning and little successes.
Let love and light find you in your path.
